Admittedly, this piece drew me primarily because it's got a lot of my favorite color in it.
*chuckle*
On a more serious note, however, though some might instantly think that blue is the color of choice for a setting like this, the green, in conjunction with the misty effect in the background is just as effective in giving off a sense of cold, in my opinion.

I agree, green can have more then just a toxic effect.
Though I tend to think green and toxic. I blame poison ivy for this.

Indeed, it can also have a very calming effect, or set the mood for quietude.
Can't speak as far as toxicity goes, I'm more of a Harley fan, LOL.
